While the House Democrats have fled Texas on private planes, to appear on MSNBC & CNN, the Texas Senate is hard at work.
Already today, the Business & Commerce Committee held a hearing with the new Public Utility Commission Board, ensuring electric reliability throughout the state.
The Senate Finance Committee voted out important legislation on Article 10. And now we are in session and approved Senate Bill 7, providing Texas retired teachers a 13th check, and are currently debating Senate Bill 1, the Texas Election Integrity bill.
We took an oath, and we are hard at work and will not stop until these critical bills are passed into law.
