CHIP IN TO RE-ELECT SENATOR BRANDON CREIGHTON

BRANDON CREIGHTON

ABOUT

Raised on a working ranch, and the youngest of 4 children, Brandon was taught the values of hard work, personal responsibility, and the importance of faith. Brandon put himself through UT Austin, working as an electrician's helper at the Texaco Chemical plant and as a policy advisor in the Texas Senate. Prior to running for a seat in the Texas House of Representatives, Creighton worked as an investigator for the Texas Attorney General and as a brief writer for the Oklahoma Attorney General.

As a member of the Texas House, Creighton built a reputation as a fiscal conservative and a champion for pro-growth, pro-business policies. In the Texas Senate, Creighton has continued his work for a strong future, including delivering balanced budgets, authoring pro-taxpayer legislation, passing Senate Bill 7, the most comprehensive flood mitigation plan in the nation in response to Hurricane Harvey. In the 88th Legislative session, Creighton passed the Texas Regulatory Consistency Act – a bill lauded as the most pro-growth, pro-business legislation this decade.

In 2022, Creighton was appointed to lead both the Senate Committees on Public Education and Higher Education, joining two consequential committees to advance bold reforms for the future of Texas and ensuring the next generation is prepared for a 21st-century economy. Building off his success banning CRT in Texas schools, Creighton championed a 21st-century curriculum for Texas to increase rigor and keep political agendas out of the classroom.  In Higher Education, Creighton passed the strongest ban on DEI in public universities in the nation and sweeping reforms to rein in tenure.  He also serves as a key member of the Senate Finance Committee and as a member of numerous committees, including Business and Commerce, and Jurisprudence.

Last election cycle, Brandon led the successful statewide Victory effort for the Republican Party of Texas. In the private sector, Brandon works as an attorney and real estate developer in Conroe, where he lives with his family.
